With other types of fires, a chimney or flues pulls a hugh amount of air out of the house, air that has already been heated by your central heating.

The Platinum is a genuine feat of engineering with it's shallow appearance and high output, for when combined with the patented technology this appliance has the ability to deliver 2.6kW of heat on maximum whilst being 100% efficient in it's operation.

The only considerations when installing this appliance are an accessible gas supply, together with ventilation and minimum room size requirements. The minimum room size for this appliance is 30m³ (typically a room 12' x 12' x 7'6") and l00cm² of purpose provided ventilation. An openable window or louvre is also required in the room the platinum is installed into.

It is recommended that flueless appliances be used in conjunction with central heating, and not relied upon as a sole heat source.
