From humble beginnings, Focal Point Fires now employ over 100 staff in our factories, offices and 'on the road'. From our Research and Development department, to the team of Customer Care service engineers, every member of staff is dedicated to the experience at providing our customers with high quality, affordable fuel effect fires.

Ivor B.Mitchell, Chairman
Founder of the company in 1983, it is his drive and success from previous business experience that has put the company where it is today.
Over the course of the last few years Ivor has passed his knowledge and drive on to the rest of the team who are intent in pushing the company on towards further success.

Carl Richards, Chief Executive Officer
Carl Richards is Chief Executive Officer of Focal Point Fires and in his role directly oversees all company operations and developments, and plays a key role in the strategic direction of the company. He reports to Focal Point Executive Chairman.
Carl has over 20 years’ experience in the fireplace industry across a broad spectrum of areas, including Sales, Project Management, Development Management, Funds Management and Asset Management.

Mark Moody, Managing Director
Mark joined the company in 1993 where he has steadily progressed through the ranks and he now holds the position of Managing Director.
He is responsible for the day to day operation of the business which covers all facets from Sales through to the Manufacturing aspect.

Richard Stokes, Technical Director
Richard joined Focal Point in January 2000 bringing 8 years of the industries experience with him. His knowledge base allows us to develop and certify new ideas in our market place.
He is responsible for product development, concepts are subjected to rigorous testing and evaluation using state of the art facilities that re-create different and challenging environments to help ensure the products perform every time.

Tony Southall, Sales Director
Tony joined Focal Point when he was just 21 years of age, starting as a sales rep covering the North West of the UK. He progressed over the years and has reached a title position of Sales Director.
Tony has the added knowledge of our industry by owning his own showrooms across the country, giving him the vital knowledge of customers requirements and demands.

Vivienne Stocks, Commercial Director
With over 18 years experience gained in businesses manufacturing a variety of home interior products and appliances,
Vivienne joined FPF in January 2006, leaving the role of Sales Director for a well known fireplace manufacturer which was part of the Aga Foodservice Group.
