Inset Electric

Inset electric fires comprise of both a fret and trim that are usually made of either chrome, brass or black and brushed steel. Although they are traditionally known as inset, our range of fires come with spacer frames that allow the product to be situated against a flat wall, or by removing one or both of the frames the fire can be recessed in to a cavity. If you are installing an electric fire in to an existing flue these fires sit within a standard sized cavity (22H x 16″W). You will need to block the flue off with a chimney balloon or something similar as pull of a chimney can affect the working of the heater on a fire.
